Within this workshop presentation, I cover a number of topics including: cultural awareness, cultural customs, ettiquette and the effects of colonisation on our students today. 
The next part goes into detail surrounding some classroom strategies that emphasise 'connection'. These strategies are targeted to help educators create diverse and enaging lessons.
